Well, it's a nice and useful language. I have travelled to Spain quite a lot (and expect to do more travelling to there), but I also plan to go on a massive tour in South America. Knowing Spanish when I go on this tour would be beneficial :P.

Por estas razones:

- I have lived almost half of my life abroad
- I was born - and I grew up - in Denmark
- I grew up speaking Armenian, Kurdish and Russian at home
- I was enrolled in a French private school until I attended University
- It's mandatory in Denmark to learn English (in school) from a young age
- Swedish and (especially) Norwegian have a lot of similarities to Danish
- I have learned Persian and Arabic on my own

I'm currently learning Greek and Spanish; I aim to become fluent, but I can only hold very basic conversations at the moment.
