Good evening Kerstineva,
How are you tonight?I have read your profile and see that we have a few things in common. I too am looking for friends as well as trying to re-learn German that I took way back in high school, many years ago. I love to read, mostly mysteries as they allow me to try to play amateur detective and guess who committed the crime. Some of my favourite authors are Ian Rankin, P.D. James, Len Deighton, etc. I do like other genres of books such as classics like A Tale of Two cities.
As far as music goes, I do like pretty much any type of music with the exception of Rap but having been a child of the 60's and a teen in the 70's, the 70's music is my favourite and R&B especially Motown, is right up there with artists like Marvin Gaye, Ray Charles being the top of my Soul List.
You say that you like to watch good movies. What do you classify as "good" movies? Is there any particular type of film that you really enjoy? Comedy? Rom-Com? Thrillers? I love good movies along with some of the older movies. I love "Casablanca". It just seems to have everything, mystery, drama, romance, dark characters such as Sam.
So you're a Monty Python fan. I used to watch their shows and movies growing up. In fact, they are still showing on repeat here in Canada. Do you have any favourites? For me, it's Monty Python and the Holy Grail (Come on, I'll take you. ....But you have no arms and legs.....Oh so, you're a coward eh? Come on" The Life of Brian is another movie that I watch whenever it's on. For the show version, the skit that always made me laugh was either "The Twit of the Year" or the "Blackmail" skit.
I would really love to hear more about you, if you're interested in talking.
Have a great evening.

A fellow Cohen fan! I’m currently watching the great George Clooney in one of the Cohen’s masterpieces (they’re all masterpieces) “Hail Caesar!” I’ve also got a couple of sets of their “Fargo” series. Sadly, my German has suffered. The last time I used it was in the late 60’s when I was posted to the Intelligence Corps at 6 Infantry Brigade HQ in Munster. On top of which when my late mother left me her documents I discovered some rather disturbing facts.
