I see, Lao is like the standard language for almost everyone + everyone has another dialect?
Never heard them speak it but i guess they can speak it. I think there are different "ethnicity", they are hmong, don't know if there are different languages too in your country? :-)
I have some friends with laotian origin here in France, would like to visit there one day!
