well that does sound like great vacations. Wichita..hmmm well, I just didn't like the vibe I got there. The religious people were/are extreme, atleast the ones I had to deal with. I think that's what pushed me away mainly. I don't like people that judge when they are "taught" not to. You should visit west texas, it's very pretty there.

oh yeah, i've been to Neb, Missouri, Mississippi, too..i forgot lol I lived in Ks for two weeks and had to leave. Wichita scared me lol. Puerto Rico is so relaxing, tropical, you can see where you're walking in the water, people are very friendly and laid back. Not expensive. I need to go back soon and see my family. It's a great place to visit. Where's your dream vacation?

I have not been to Utah, heard it was pretty. I have been to Cali, Arizona, Mass, NY, Okla, Va, Fl, Co, Ks and of course Tx. As far as countries...I have been to about 12 different countries, Mostly in the South Pacific. A couple of my favs. are Australia and Singapore ohhh I love Puerto Rico (where I was born). Where have you been?

I hear Alaska is beautiful. I have no doubt you will accomplish your goal :)
For every 4 men there is 1 woman (the ratio). So, I hope you don't get too lonely :(

Hydraulics is cool, that can get a little messy lol. I started out in seats (lot of riveting) and went to interiors. I like working with sheet metal. It was one of those jobs where you can see your accomplishments. You're pretty young...what's your goal? Own your own business one day?

It could be a code that comes up, an obvious issue or a periodic check remove/repair or replace a part. Planes come in every so often to get gutted out (pull out all the seats, cabins, bulkheads, lavs, carpet, flooring etc...) it's quite thorough so you can do repairs as needed. Everyone has a specific job to do (avionics, hydraulics, engine, interior, lavs, seats, etc...)

Everything is inspected that has been touched. And there are periodic checks on all parts. Its really easy though, common sense stuff.

Working on airplanes is a lot easier (and less dirty) than working on heavy equip. or reg vehicles lol
